Lyrics:

The tomb is empty on this day; the tomb wherein my Savior laid. My heart is heavy, all hope is lost; my thoughts turn to Him on the cross. He died for me, and all who live. His life He did so freely give. With overwhelming sorrow near they have taken away my Lord, I fear. I seek Him, who died for me that day. I see Him, who knowingly was betrayed. I seek Him, who rescued me from sin. I long to be with Him again.

As tears of grief poor down my cheek, I hear a voice calm and meek. My name He spoke so tenderly. My Lord was here with  me. For as He had been crucified; He rose again, more glorified. And in that moment; mercy sweet, I rush to be there at His feet. I seek Him, who died for me that day. I see Him, who knowingly was betrayed. I seek Him, who rescued me from sin. And I will be with Him again.

This song is part of the larger "He Comes Again" Easter cantata.
